Overview

Are you an experienced Laboratory Technician with a desire to excel? If so, then Talent Software Services may have a job for you! Our client is seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician to work at their company in Marlborough, MA. The Center for Biological Innovation (CBI) is a client Center of Excellence that utilizes in vitro and ex vivo approaches, such as biochemical, cell-based, microbial, and tissue-based assays to support the design, development and commercialization of client products. The successful Laboratory Technician candidate should have appropriate scientific experience to provide the technical support required for supporting in vitro biomedical research studies.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Supporting in vitro hemocompatibility testing of blood-contacting devices at the bench
  • Following experimental protocols and executing on tasks both independently and with guidance from senior team members
  • Assisting with the preparation of data for reporting and presentation
  • Optimizing and troubleshooting technical assays
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate records
Qualifications
  • 3 Years with an Associate's with a Biology degree/diploma or Bachelor's, or an equivalent combination of education/work experience
  • Background in Cell Biology
  • Hands-on experience in cell biology techniques, e.g., hemocompatibility testing (highly desirable), and microscopy, immunostaining, flow cytometry, and/or cell culture
  • Ability to quickly learn new techniques and adapt in a changing environment
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting and on an individual basis
  • Results and detail-oriented
