Job description

THE OPPORTUNITY:
My client is looking for a Laboratory Technician with strong lab skills, including GC / HPLC, a positive attitude, and the ability to work as part of a team. Experience in a GLP / GMP environment is highly desirable.

THE ROLE:
In this role, you will:

  1. Conduct laboratory-based GC testing and accurately record and analyze results.
  2. Collect, coordinate, record, process, and analyze samples.
  3. Record process data to ensure the accuracy of data collection methods and equipment.
  4. Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment and systems.
  5. Work within defined operating procedures and processes, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety standards.
  6. Support the laboratory team by working flexibly based on workload and collaborate closely with the QA team.

TO APPLY:
Candidates should have:

  • A science-based degree or equivalent qualifications.
  • Previous laboratory experience, including GC / HPLC, in an ISO 9001 / 17025 environment.
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow strict process guidelines.
  • A strong approach to Health and Safety.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to understand technical concepts.
  • Proficiency in IT and the ability to use relevant software.
  • Flexibility, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude towards improvements.
