Job summary

A Laboratory Technician role in Llanberis, Gwynedd is available on a 6-month temporary contract. The successful candidate will support day-to-day laboratory operations, manage storage, stock levels, and documentation, and help ensure safety and quality procedures are followed.

Experience in a lab is advantageous; autoclave operation is desirable but not essential. The role offers regular weekday shifts, a competitive hourly rate, and opportunities to develop within a regulated laboratory

Laboratory Technician

Llanberis, Gwynedd (LL55 4EL)

£13.12 per hour

6-Month Temporary Contract

We are currently recruiting for a Laboratory Technician to join a well-established organisation based in Llanberis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with laboratory experience or a strong interest in working in a laboratory environment.

As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the laboratory, ensuring equipment, supplies, and documentation are maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Organising and maintaining laboratory storage areas.
• Monitoring stock levels and ensuring laboratory supplies are readily available.
• Operating autoclaves safely and in line with established procedures.
• Completing and maintaining accurate quality and compliance documentation.
• Ensuring laboratory equipment and materials are stored correctly.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, rotating weekly shifts:

• Early Shift: 07:00 - 15:00
• Late Shift: 10:00 - 18:00

Applicants must be able to work both shift patterns on a rotational basis.
