Job summary

A Laboratory Technician role in Llanberis, Gwynedd is available on a 6-month temporary contract. The successful candidate will support day-to-day laboratory operations, manage storage, stock levels, and documentation, and help ensure safety and quality procedures are followed.

Experience in a lab is advantageous; autoclave operation is desirable but not essential. The role offers regular weekday shifts, a competitive hourly rate, and opportunities to develop within a regulated laboratory

Qualifications

• Laboratory experience is advantageous.
• Experience operating autoclaves is desirable but not essential.
• Familiarity with quality documentation and laboratory procedures would be beneficial.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow processes accurately and work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Organising and maintaining laboratory storage areas.
• Monitoring stock levels and ensuring laboratory supplies are readily available.
• Operating autoclaves safely and in line with established procedures.
• Completing and maintaining accurate quality and compliance documentation.
• Ensuring laboratory equipment and materials are stored correctly.
• Supporting the smooth and efficient operation of laboratory activities.
• Following all health, safety, and quality procedures.
