Laboratory Supervisor

As our company grows, we are expanding our teams. We offer a great opportunity for a committed Laboratory Supervisor to join our Infrastructure Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.

We are seeking a dependable, dedicated, and flexible Laboratory Technician to join our UKAS accredited Materials Team. The role involves determining the physical properties of various materials, including concrete, earthworks, aggregates, and bituminous mixtures, ensuring compliance with standards. All testing is conducted in line with British, European, and American standards, requiring attention to detail and procedural adherence.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising the Concrete Lab and test area
• Dealing with clients
• Reporting results

To succeed, you should demonstrate:

• Strong leadership qualities
• Experience in materials testing, such as concrete and soils
• Good organizational and time management skills

About Materials Testing

Our Materials Testing Team performs extensive testing and compliance services across various construction projects, including highways, rail, airports, ports, power stations, sports stadia, and new build projects in industrial, commercial, and residential sectors. Working in this field offers diverse experiences and the satisfaction of contributing to a safe and stable built environment.
