Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a Laboratory Software Specialist to support pharmaceutical laboratory operations by developing, validating, and maintaining custom software tools and automated data solutions in a regulated environment. You will build and optimize spreadsheet-based applications using Visual Basic, collaborate with lab and quality teams, and ensure systems meet regulatory and client requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, biology, chemistry, or a related field.
Foundational programming exposure via coursework or internship.
Basic knowledge of Visual Basic or VBA.
Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
Excellent organization and attention to detail.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain spreadsheet applications and Visual Basic code to automate laboratory data processing.
Collaborate with laboratory and quality teams to identify automation opportunities.
Create validation documents including URS, FRS, IQ/OQ, and UAT.
Test, troubleshoot, and modify existing tools to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Maintain validated systems and thorough technical documentation for regulatory and client needs.
Assist with enhancements to improve efficiency, data integrity, and reporting.
