Job Description

Position Summary:

The Technical Support Specialist manages communication between assigned technical groups and project management staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Technical Communication: Reviews emails from project management team and collaborates with lab staff to respond.
• Job Tracking: Reviews shipping status and due dates for incoming ICO jobs; works with ICO Project Management to address issues. Reviews daily production summaries for assigned departments and provides status updates. Assists management in identifying and addressing issues early. Records upcoming projects in department tracking spreadsheets.
• Other duties: Assists with additional tasks as assigned, demonstrates and promotes the company vision, maintains regular attendance and punctuality, attends laboratory meetings, participates in cross-training, and performs other duties as needed.

Role is M-F, 8am-5pm.

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Proficiency with computers.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restrictions or sponsorship.

Ideal Candidates will have:

• Strong attention to detail.
• 1-3+ years of customer service experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
• Professional communication skills.

Additional Information

Professional working proficiency in English is required, including reading, writing, and speaking skills.

Pay rate: $20-22/hour.
