Laboratory Reception Assistant
£12.21 per hour
Location: Nottingham
Contract: Temp to perm

Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours, 9:00am to 5:00pm
Start Date: ASAP

Our client is an innovative science and research organisation who are looking for Laboratory Reception Administrators to join their team. This is an excellent entry level position for people wanting to progress within the industry or have a Biomedical background.

Duties will include:

  • Providing lab support to facilitate testing services
  • Working closely with the wider laboratory team, scientists & biomedical staff
  • Maintaining and calibrating equipment
  • Booking in and recording samples
  • Maintaining a safe working environment in-line with health & safety procedures and regulations
  • Working closely with other departments and employees
  • Maintaining customer contact

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a similar role essential - office support / data entry/ admin/ customer service
  • An understanding of confidentiality
  • Excellent communication skills and a desire to progress

Additional information – this role is fully office-based. You will be on a temporary contract for 12 weeks. Depending on performance, there is the opportunity for a permanent contract at the end.
