Job summary

A leading medical device manufacturer in the UK is seeking a Laboratory Quality Control Analyst to oversee the inspection and analysis of various materials and products. Responsibilities include maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing stock. The ideal candidate will have A-level science qualifications, preferably in chemistry, and experience in quality roles within a production environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a Quality role preferred.
  • Previous experience in production and manufacturing environments with a Quality focus.
  • Knowledge of laboratory procedures and calibration.

Responsibilities

  • Inspection and analysis of packaging components and materials.
  • Operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Calibration of lab equipment according to procedures.

Understanding of GDP

Education

Job description

Laboratory Quality Control Analyst

Medical device manufacturer is looking for a Quality Control Laboratory Analyst.

Your responsibilities:

Inspection and analysis of packaging components, raw materials and dental products at all stages of manufacture, including production and packing.

Operation, care and maintenance of laboratory equipment

Carry out the calibration of laboratory equipment in accordance with local procedures.

Stock control and disposal of chemicals and reagents.

Purchasing of laboratory supplies

Training will be provided.



Key skills:

Science at A-level (preferably chemistry), or equivalent experience in a Quality role

Awareness of laboratory health and safety

A good understanding and awareness of GLP, GDP, GMP.

Previous experience working within a production and manufacturing environment with a Quality focus.
