A leading university in Scotland is seeking a Laboratory Manager for the National Robotarium. The role involves overseeing laboratory operations, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting robotic development. The ideal candidate has a Master's degree in Engineering, extensive experience in lab support management, and strong communication skills. Role: Laboratory Manager – National Robotarium
Grade and Salary: Grade 7, £37,174 - £46,735 per annum
FTE and working pattern: 1 FTE, 35hrs per week, Monday - Friday
Holiday Entitlement: 33 days annual leave plus 9 building closed days (and Christmas Eve when it falls on a weekday)
Working within the National Robotarium Engineering team, we seek to appoint a competent, flexible and driven Lab Manager to oversee and organize the daily operations of the National Robotarium robotic laboratories.
Working with the Head of Robotics, the facility manager and the engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe, efficient and productive work environment for robotic development. This role involves maintaining our assets, organizing inventory, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, actively supporting the engineering team on electronic construction, troubleshooting and repair.
