Are you a highly organised individual with great attention to detail? Do you want to play a key role in supporting scientific innovation? A growing life sciences company in North London is looking for a LaboratoryLogistics Assistant to help ensure the smooth manufacturing and distribution of high-quality lab products.
About the Role
You’ll be working as part of a friendly, collaborative team involved in the production and dispatch of molecular biology products used in research and diagnostics. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in a lab-based or manufacturing environment.
Assist with manufacturing tasks including aliquoting, labelling, product assembly, and stock maintenance
Follow sterile lab techniques and standard operating procedures to maintain product integrity
Keep accurate records and adhere to quality control and assurance protocols
Carry out general lab and office tasks using basic computer and office equipment
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, using appropriate PPE
Work both independently and collaboratively to meet team targets
Previous lab or logistics experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided. We’re looking for someone who is:
Detail-oriented with good numeracy skills
A strong team player with good communication skills
Comfortable following instructions and working to protocols
Physically capable of lifting items up to 25 lbs
Proficient with basic computer and office software
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
Salary: £24,000–£25,000 (depending on experience)
26 Days holiday + bank holidays
Company pension
Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm (30-minute lunch break)
Overtime may be available
