Job description

Laboratory Glasswashing Technician - Swindon
Opportunity:
Are you currently working in a lab? Does your experience include hands-on laboratory glasswashing and consumable management? If yes, then this is the role for you!
Your role as a Laboratory Glasswashing Technician based in Swindon will involve laboratory glasswashing and consumable management. All work to be performed in line with EH&S, GMP, and GLP procedures.

Duties and responsibilities include:

1. Performing sample disposal and glass washing tasks.
2. Stock counts of laboratory consumables.
3. Understanding and correctly implementing written instructions.
4. Maintaining personal and communal laboratory areas in line with 5s principles.

This is not a lab analysis or testing role, but purely focusing on glasswashing and consumable management.
This is a 12-month contract which will be reviewed for a possible extension or go permanent dependent on the candidate and business performance. The PAYE rate is £13.00 per hour.
This is a shift role working 4 days on and then 4 days off - 7.00 am to 7.00 pm.

Skills:

1. Experience in Laboratory Glasswashing.
2. Strong organizational skills.
3. Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
4. May be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds.
