Overview

We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician for a 12-month maternity cover based in Aberdeen. This role involves supporting a busy laboratory environment by conducting chemical and physical testing in support of product development, quality control, and customer technical requests.

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out laboratory testing to support product performance evaluations and quality assurance for regional operations.
  • Compiling and interpreting test data to ensure accuracy and compliance with technical requirements.
  • Communicating results effectively to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting the resolution of technical queries and assisting with customer issue investigations.
  • Preparing clear and concise technical documentation and reports.
  • Ensuring all tasks are completed in line with health, safety, and environmental procedures, including participation in risk assessments.
  • Maintaining a high standard of laboratory housekeeping and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
