About the job

As a Laboratory Assistant, the successful candidate will analyze and evaluate products and materials to ensure quality and compliance with approved analysis standards. They will follow established processes and provide support to meet operational targets.

Duties will also include:

  • Conducting tests to analyze products and materials.
  • Collecting samples across the site, registering them, and sending them for analysis.
  • Interpreting analysis results and escalating non-conformance issues as needed.
  • Creating action plans for non-conformances and following up according to procedures.
  • Communicating and reporting results to relevant departments.
  • Ensuring instrumentation is functioning, calibrated, and verified methods are used.
  • Maintaining laboratory stock levels.
  • Upholding laboratory safety and 5S standards.

What you’ll need to be successful in the role

  • Ambition and drive
  • Good or advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience in data analysis is advantageous but not essential
