Iggesund Paperboard is seeking a Laboratory Assistant for a full-time, 12-month temporary role at their Workington Mill. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience, support product development, and contribute to environmental monitoring in a professional lab setting. Candidates should have GCSEs in Science, Maths, and English, and an enthusiasm for learning in a supportive team environment.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Laboratory Assistant to join our team at our Workington Mill. Joining us on a full-time, 12-month temporary basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary and become part of our welcoming team.
Holmen Board and Paper is a Swedish company and a member of the Holmen Group. The Workington Mill produces premium paperboard under the brand Incada. Our paperboard is an integral part of the shopping experience for our clients' customers. Since 2013 we have powered the mill almost entirely by fossil fuel free energy. We value our employees and products highly. Today we are approximately 340 co-workers. Our integrated pulp and paperboard mill is located to the west of the beautiful Lake District in the north of England.

Join our Laboratory Team in this 12-month temporary Laboratory Assistant role and gain hands-on experience supporting product development, environmental monitoring, and process optimisation in a manufacturing environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has completed their GCSEs, A-levels, or equivalent qualifications and wants to build practical skills in a professional lab setting.
