Job description

Genesys and PWT came together in 2019 to form the H2O Innovation Specialty Chemicals Group. We manufacture specialty chemicals for the membrane water treatment industry. Our products are sold worldwide through a global distribution network.

Membranes used in water treatment suffer from fouling (deposition of organic/colloidal matter) and scaling (precipitation of sparingly soluble inorganic scale, usually CaCO3, CaSO4, BaSO4, etc.). Our chemical products are used to prevent fouling and scaling on municipal, industrial, brackish, and sea- water treatment plants, and to restore plant performance after fouling or scaling has occurred.

Our chemistry now includes a strong lineup of traditional phosphonate-based antiscalants as well as a novel dendrimer-based phosphorus-free antiscalant. Our membrane-compatible chemical cleaners can remove a wide range of organic and inorganic foulants.

Our laboratories in Madrid, Spain, and Vista, California, have performed thousands of membrane autopsies, and routinely diagnose the most difficult membrane foulants. Our research laboratory in Middlewich, UK, supports the development of new products and services. In addition to their specialisms, the three laboratories also collectively support our sales, marketing and production teams by providing technical insight to the product lineup.

The technical team have authored over 50 peer-reviewed papers, many of which are available for free download from the Genesys and PWT websites.

We are looking for curious Laboratory Assistant willing to learn and join our team in our Middlewich office.
