Are you passionate about life sciences and eager to dive into the world of laboratory work? We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Assistant to join client's innovative team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a vibrant environment where your skills will make a real impact.

Due to the location of my client, it is essential that you have a vehicle, no public transport available to site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare samples accurately and efficiently using pipettes and vortex equipment.
  • Employ good aseptic techniques to ensure the integrity of samples.
  • Perform simple mathematical calculations, including serial dilutions.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all experiments and procedures.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and precision in every task you undertake.
  • Learn and apply specific practical techniques relevant to our projects.
  • Work with various technical equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
What We're Looking For
  • Ideally, you'll have previous experience as a lab technician or relevant work placement experience.
  • A strong willingness to learn and grow within the laboratory setting.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle technical equipment with care.
  • Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
