Job summary

ALS Laboratories (UK) Ltd in Wales is seeking an Analyst (Level 3) to join a dedicated team. You will perform sample analysis to required timescales and quality standards, troubleshoot equipment, and report non-conformances within the QMS framework.

The role is 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30 - 16:30, full time & permanent, with a salary of £26,878 per annum. A science degree is required and lab experience is desirable; strong IT and teamwork skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a scientific subject.
• Ideally, some laboratory experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to deliver instructional training and work effectively in a team.
• Good communication and excellent IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete sample analysis to required timescales and quality standards.
• Ensure samples meet compliance with our quality management system.
• Handle more complex analytical techniques with confidence.
• Interpret and report analytical data effectively.
• Maintain daily service delivery in line with company KPIs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient sample workflows.
