Are you looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience of using GC in a previous analytical role?

A leading and successful provider of analytical testing is currently seeking an Analyst to join their team at their site in Derbyshire. The company provides analytical services to the environmental sector and is looking for an Analyst with some prior industrial experience with GC to join the inorganics team.

Role Overview

1. Analysis of environmental samples using a range of techniques, predominantly Gas Chromatography with various detectors.
2. Ensure all work is conducted in line with relevant regulations and standards such as UKAS ISO17025 and GLP.
3. This is a permanent full-time role, 39 hours per week, with shifts available from Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday.

Requirements

• Essential: Previous experience within an industrial or commercial laboratory using GC-MS, GC-FID, and GC-ECD.
• Must be highly motivated, detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a good understanding of quality and efficiency principles in a fast-paced environment.
