Job Opening: Label Room Associate at KDC/one Port Jervis

Position Summary: Maintain customer-owned labels and production supplies within the designated area, ensuring organization and timely handling.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Organize and maintain customer labels and production supplies efficiently.
  2. Manage inventory of customer items and report inventory status to relevant departments.
  3. Distribute labels to production lines promptly, including handling returns.
  4. Assist with the production and storage of rubber stamps and stencils for identification purposes.
  5. Code labels manually or via machine, as required.
  6. Coordinate with Quality Assurance or Customer Service to obtain necessary codes, accessing QAD system as needed.
  7. Maintain customer code logs for accurate record-keeping.
  8. Prepare and manage tickets for production and shipping, including barcodes and stencils.
  9. Perform minor maintenance on label room equipment.
  10. Supply and restock production supplies such as gloves, aprons, and hairnets.
  11. Weigh and count labels for inventory control.
  12. Assist on the assembly floor with tasks like copying, as needed.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong communication and comprehension skills.
  • Basic math and English proficiency, with good spelling.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
