Ecolab, Purolite Resins, the world leader in resin-based separation, purification and extraction technology, is seeking a Lab Technician – day shift at our state-of-the-art manufacturing site in Llantrisant, Wales!

We are seeking a Lab Technician to engage in product development, product line maintenance, and test method maintenance activities.

What You Will Do:

  • Producing agarose resin products in accordance to ISO9001 and pharmaceutical standards.
  • Carrying out all work procedures properly, reliably and safely
  • Undertaking any other reasonable tasks as required by the Management of the company
  • The process involves state of the art equipment to successfully manufacture high value specialty products.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a lab environment
  • Able to manually handle raw materials, products and equipment up to 25 kg
  • Handle hazardous chemicals in accordance with strict H&S policies
  • Basic computer competency
  • Access to own transport
  • No immigration sponsorship available for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Practical understanding of chemistry
  • Production experience in a pharmaceutical, chemical, laboratory or food environment is desirable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently

Additional information:

The position is 4 days on, 4 days off, 5.30am - 5.30pm or 6.30am to 6.30pm
