Job summary

UL Solutions is offering a Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship in its Telford laboratory. You will join a busy testing team, gaining hands-on experience in preparing equipment, setting up tests, and recording results under supervision.

This 20-month programme includes blended online and in-person training, with at least 6 hours per week of off-the-job learning, and potential progression to RSciTech recognition.

Qualifications

• Proficient IT skills with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Pursuing or completed Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist with testing a range of door hardware products and related equipment.
• Prepare, assemble and dismantle test setups for different requirements.
• Learn to operate specialist laboratory equipment under supervision.
• Record test observations and results using computers and software.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised laboratory workspace.
