Job summary

A food testing facility in Ipswich is seeking a diligent Sample Preparation Technician. Your role will include accurately preparing food samples for analysis and maintaining safety protocols. The successful candidate will have excellent English proficiency and organizational skills. No prior laboratory experience is needed as training will be provided. A driver's license is required due to the remote location.

Kenton Black are partnered with a Food Testing testing facility in Ipswich who are seeking a diligent Sample Preparation Technician to join their dynamic team.

The successful candidate will not require prior laboratory experience, as training will be provided. However, those with a history in production, food services, or retail are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately registering and preparing various food samples for analysis.
  • Ensuring that sample preparation is completed in accordance with established SOPs and ISO17025 standards.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in line with health and safety protocols.
  • Managing sample inventory, including tracking, storage, and disposal, as per guidelines.
  • Collaborating with laboratory personnel to facilitate efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
