Job description

Element is seeking a Lab Technician to join our rapidly expanding Connected Technologies business at our state-of-the-art laboratory in Surrey Hills, Guildford.

As a member of our Radio Testing team, you will perform various testing assignments to ensure consumer electrical devices meet radio testing standards and are safe for market release.

Core Responsibilities

1. Prepare material specimens for testing
2. Perform tests according to customer specifications
3. Operate under supervision of senior test technicians or Department Manager
4. Gather and record test data
5. Construct and maintain test fixtures and laboratory equipment

Key Skills

• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols
• HS diploma or GED preferred; college or vocational coursework welcomed
• 0-2 years’ experience in testing or related fields
• Basic understanding of testing concepts
• Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry is a plus
