Our client is a prominent name within the Aerospace Sector, providing Advanced Composite and Metal Components for Civil & Defence Aerospace applications. We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team.

Job Description:

The main function of the role is to support the business in aspects of process control testing, process assurance, and special process control.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for performing multiple types of process control tests including preparation of samples, recording results, and making declarations on the test result.
2. Responsible for undertaking some basic calibration work and administering the subcontract calibration requirements of the business.
3. Responsible for undertaking multiple process assurance verifications related to the performance of manufacturing equipment and environments.
4. Responsible for contributing to the analysis of technical issues and other investigatory processes.
5. Promote a Quality Culture by thinking Quality and encouraging others to do the same. Support good practices and act upon bad practices firmly and fairly. Ensure standards and expectations are followed and met at all times.
6. Ensure adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS). Communicate and ensure compliance with QMS requirements within your specific area.
