About the Role

We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our Chemical Analysis Department. You will play a key role in supporting laboratory operations and shop-floor processes by collecting and analysing process solutions. This position requires precision, adherence to procedures, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct wet chemical analysis, including acid-base titrations, pH measurements, and sugar content testing.
Prepare and standardize stock solutions.
Perform trend analysis of process solutions and hydrogen testing.
Calibrate laboratory and test equipment.
Conduct copper sulfate testing and support chemical process audits.
Maintain accurate records, data entry via LIMS, and stock control.
Work closely with the onsite chemical service provider and support the HSE department as needed.
Follow technical procedures meticulously.
Provide flexible overtime support as required.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience with titrations and solution preparation.
Proficiency in calibrating laboratory equipment.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Competency in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience in a NADCAP/ISO 17025 laboratory is desirable but not essential.
Training will be provided for suitable candidates.
