The Workplace in Cambridge (UK) comprises several busy operational teams. This role supports the lab teams by managing essential daily housekeeping tasks that ensure the quality of data output. Responsibilities include waste management, specialist laboratory cleaning, maintenance of communal lab areas, stock management of lab consumables and reagents, sample inventory and distribution, buffer preparation, and supply of clean lab ware. Support is required in general lab areas, the cell culture suite, and molecular lab, requiring a conscientious, flexible approach and great attention to detail. Full training will be provided; previous laboratory experience is essential.
You should be able to work well in a team, organize workloads, and communicate effectively. Experience in buffer preparation, following standard operating procedures, and working in a cell culture laboratory is advantageous.
