Job summary

Carbometrics seeks a hands-on lab support candidate to help run our Bristol research facility on-site. You will assist the R&D and operations teams, maintain instrumentation, manage stock, and help ensure high standards of documentation and safety.

The role requires experience in a science/industrial laboratory, with strong numeracy, computer and MS Office skills, and the ability to work independently while following SOPs and health and safety practices.

Qualifications

• BSc in an appropriate field (e.g. sciences or engineering).
• Further qualifications or equivalent experience in an academic/industrial lab.

Responsibilities

• General facility housekeeping duties.
• Stock management for consumables and liaise with science team on requirements.
• Maintain facilities, equipment and instrumentation; training may be provided.
• Contact point with external suppliers for servicing and procurement.
• Assist science team with research to improve efficiency and data analysis.
