Job summary

Aligra Personnel Ltd in Warwickshire near Southam is hiring an Asphalt and Concrete Technician for laboratory and field-based work. This permanent role offers 37.5 hours per week with an early finish on Fridays and a salary of £28,000–£29,500 per annum.

You will carry out quality control and end‑performance testing on asphalt, readymix, mortars, screed and aggregates, record data to UKAS/European standards, and support site testing and R&D activities while upholding safety at the lab.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required for site visits.
• Experience as a Laboratory Technician, preferably in asphalt sector.
• Proficient with Excel for data logging and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality control and end-performance testing on asphalt, readymix, mortars, screed and aggregates.
• Accurately record and analyse test data in line with UKAS and European standards.
• Maintain health & safety standards within the laboratory environment.
