Job summary

ALS is seeking a motivated Analyst (Level 3) to join our scientific team in the UK. You will perform sample analysis, ensure quality and compliance with our QMS, troubleshoot equipment, and report non-conformances while training colleagues to required standards.

Working hours are 37 per week, Monday to Friday, with a full-time permanent contract and a salary of £25,878 per annum. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and ongoing professional development, including COSHH and PPE compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a scientific subject.
• Ideally, some laboratory experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to deliver instructional training and work effectively in a team.
• Good communication and excellent IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete sample analysis to required timescales and quality standards.
• Ensure samples meet compliance with our quality management system.
• Handle more complex analytical techniques with confidence.
• Interpret and report analytical data effectively.
• Maintain daily service delivery in line with company KPIs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient sample workflows.
