Job summary

Abcam, a Danaher operating company, in Cambridge, UK, seeks a Research Associate to support manufacture, assembly and QC across Conjugation, Kits and Accessories. You will perform ELISA QC tests, antibody conjugation, and related assays on-site in a full-time lab role.

You'll document results meticulously, analyze assay trends, and help ensure compliance with SOPs, GLP and ISO9001:2015 standards while maintaining raw materials and finished goods inventories.

Qualifications

• Life Sciences degree with hands‑on laboratory experience.
• Experience with ELISA and QC testing is essential.
• Familiarity with GLP, COSHH and SOPs is desirable.
• Strong data recording and documentation discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacture, assembly and QC of products in Cambridge.
• Perform Direct and Sandwich ELISA QC assays and antibody conjugation.
• Carry out assay trend analysis to support quality improvements.
• Maintain BMRs, notebooks and ERP records for traceability.
• Assist with inventory records of materials and reagents.
