Eyes & Smiles – Opticians & Dentists in London is offering a L3 Trainee Dental Nurse Apprentice role. This on-site position is a full-time 30-hour-per-week apprenticeship starting as soon as possible, with wages of £8 per hour and an 18-month training program.

You will be supported by Excellence Solutions Limited and study towards the Level 3 Dental Nurse (GDC 2023) qualification, gaining hands-on experience while delivering patient care in a busy practice.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Your responsibilities may include:

• Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
• Assist the dentist during a variety of clinical procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms before and after appointments
• Stock and organise the dental surgery
• Mix dental materials as required
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with clinical charting
• Book and manage patient appointments
• Sterilise and decontaminate dental instruments
• Maintain high standards of infection prevention and control
• Process dental radiographs under supervision
• Ensure the surgery remains clean, organised, and fully equipped
• Work collaboratively as part of the dental team
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development

TRAINING

During your apprenticeship, you will:

• Receive regular training and support from Excellence Solutions Limited
• Complete at least 20% off-the-job training
• Study towards the Level 3 Dental Nurse (GDC 2023) qualification
• Gain hands‑on experience in a real working environment
• Build the skills and knowledge required to become a qualified Dental Nurse
• Become eligible to register with the General Dental Council (GDC) upon successful completion
