Job description

Position: L2 NOC Engineer
Location: Hereford - 3 days onsite per week
Day Rate: £450 p.d outside IR35
Security Clearance: DV Required

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Level 2 NOC Engineer to join our Network Operations Centre (NOC) team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for maintaining and enhancing network performance. As a Level 2 NOC Engineer, you will play a critical role in monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving network issues to ensure the stability and security of our defence infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor network performance.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve incidents.
  3. Perform maintenance and upgrades.
  4. Collaborate with technical teams.
  5. Document changes and incidents.
  6. Participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications:

  1. CCNA certification required.
  2. Experience in NOC or network support.
  3. Knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
  4. Strong communication skills.
  5. MOD DV required.
