Job description

Supporting primary school students with Hearing Impairment.

You will be responsible for translating verbal instructions from class teachers to students, providing pastoral, social, emotional, and behavioural support. At times, you may need to assist with note-taking and scribing.

To succeed in this Manchester-based BSL Teaching Assistant role, you will need:

• An enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for a new one).
• A minimum of 2 professional references.
• A CV with a full history from your education until present.
• The legal right to work in the UK.
• Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable).
• BSL proficiency at Level 2 or above.
