This role

We are looking for a Learning & Development Apprentice who goes beyond the expected. This apprenticeship role will work within the Culture and Engagement team, helping with the rollout and implementation of culture and engagement initiatives and supporting some of our learning and talent programmes. You will support the team in delivering an excellent level of customer service mainly working on tactical elements of the work associated with culture and engagement initiatives.

At the end of the apprenticeship period, you will achieve a Level 3 in Learning & Development. Please see our detailed Job Description for key responsibilities.

What you’ll need to succeed:
  • Educated to GCSE-level
  • Warm and friendly professional who is incredibly customer focused
  • Proactive with excellent time management
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail, delivering quality work to deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a changing workload
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A good level of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills
  • Previous experience working in a Learning and Development or organisational development administrative role is desirable

Salary offered is dependent upon age, in line with government guidelines on apprenticeships. Please see below for breakdown of salary per age group.

  • Apprentice (Year 1) and Under 18: £14.50
  • 18 - 20: £19
  • 21 and over: £23.50
