BCG delivers solutions through leading‑edge management consulting along with technology and design, corporate and digital ventures—and business purpose. We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, generating results that allow our clients to thrive.

What You’ll Do

BCG’s Global Learning & Development organization is embarking on a multi‑year transformation to modernize how learning is designed, delivered, and experienced across the firm. As we evolve toward a more data‑informed, AI‑enabled learning ecosystem, we are redesigning our capabilities, technology, and ways of working to better meet the firm’s current and future talent needs. This transformation spans multiple strategic initiatives, including advancing AI‑enabled learning, evolving our learning portfolio, and strengthening operational excellence. It requires strong global program management to translate strategy into execution, drive alignment across global stakeholders, proactively manage risk, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

As the central Program Senior Manager and part of the Strategy & Transformation team, you will independently lead multiple workstreams from strategy through execution. You will translate priorities into executable plans, establish governance and delivery approaches, drive alignment across global stakeholders, and ensure successful outcomes through proactive management of dependencies, risks, decisions, and milestones. You will partner closely with your L&D colleagues, extended stakeholders, and senior leaders to shape execution, enable decision making, and deliver measurable business impact.

Key Activities And Responsibilities Include
  • Roadmap development and project planning – Independently lead the development and evolution of the multi‑year Global L&D Transformation roadmap in partnership with business and functional leaders. Translate priorities into executable workstreams, defining governance, milestones, success metrics, dependencies, and resource requirements while proactively identifying trade‑offs and opportunities to maximize business value.
  • Project analytics, support and execution – Independently lead assigned transformation workstreams from planning through delivery. Drive execution across cross‑functional teams by converting strategic objectives into actionable implementation plans, proactively resolving barriers, managing competing priorities, and ensuring delivery against agreed outcomes, timelines, and budget.
  • Tracking and Analysis – Establish and manage program performance frameworks, including KPIs, executive dashboards, and portfolio reporting. Analyze program performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations that support executive decision‑making and portfolio prioritization.
  • Change and Risk Management – Lead change and risk management activities across assigned workstreams by proactively identifying organizational, operational, and delivery risks; developing mitigation strategies; and driving resolution of issues before they impact delivery. Partner with senior stakeholders to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, facilitate decision making, and build alignment that enables successful adoption of transformation initiatives.
  • Business cases and management communications – Develop compelling business cases, investment proposals, and executive recommendations that support strategic decision making. Craft high‑quality executive communications, Steering Committee materials, and leadership presentations that clearly articulate progress, risks, decisions, and recommendations for senior leadership.
YOU’RE GOOD AT
  • Project Management – Leading complex, cross‑functional transformation initiatives by translating strategic priorities into executable plans, establishing governance, proactively managing risks, and driving successful outcomes in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Organizing and managing – Creating structure across ambiguous transformation initiatives while balancing strategic priorities, stakeholder expectations, resources, and delivery timelines to achieve business outcomes.
  • Working in a complex environment at pace. You are analytical and comfortable simultaneously managing multiple deliverables with multiple inputs often with high impact, time‑sensitive requirements.
  • Drawing insights from data – Structuring and conducting key analyses to support projects or business cases, drawing out key insights from the data and analysis to inform project plans.
  • Stakeholder Engagement. You can hear what someone needs, translate it into your own words, and create it. You are politically and organizationally savvy and can navigate/influence complex matrix organizations. You can build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the organization, influencing decisions through data‑driven recommendations, navigating competing priorities, and driving alignment across complex, global matrix organizations.
  • Structuring and analyzing information. You can structure and synthesize complex quantitative and qualitative data into meaningful business insights, translating analysis into strategic recommendations that inform decisions and transformation priorities.
What You’ll Bring
  • University degree or equivalent – ideally in a business‑related subject.
  • Demonstrated experience independently managing large, cross‑functional transformation workstreams, translating strategy into execution, and influencing senior stakeholders within complex global organizations.
  • Corporate Learning & Development (L&D) experience is a plus.
  • Experience leading enterprise‑scale programs or transformation initiatives with accountability for planning, governance, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and successful delivery.
  • Project and Program Management – including resource scheduling and utilization. PMI or other professional program management certification is a plus.
  • Data Analysis – strong data analysis skills, able to communicate key insights effectively.
  • Creativity and openness to new approaches, digital tools, Agile methodologies.
