Description
- Develop and implement comprehensive learning and development strategies for all levels of employees.
- Identify training needs through collaboration with department heads and managers.
- Design and deliver engaging training programmes, workshops, and e-learning modules.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and make improvements as required.
- Manage the L&D budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
- Support succession planning by identifying and nurturing high-potential employees.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all training activities.
- Collaborate with external training providers where necessary to meet organisational needs.
Profile
- A successful L&D Manager should have:
- Proven experience in a learning and development role within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
- Ability to align training strategies with organisational goals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other relevant tools.
- Experience in managing budgets and vendor relationships.
