Colas Ltd have an excellent opportunity for a Learning and Development (L&D) Coordinator to join the team on a permanent, part time basis (22.5 hours) working hybrid, primarily at Bishops Court, B37 7YB. Reporting into the Lead L&D Partner, your key focus in this role will be on maximising the Grants and Funding claims on behalf of Colas Ltd. You will work closely with key stakeholders, third party partners and suppliers along with the Learning and Development Team to coordinate and facilitate the funding claims process and being able to identify upcoming opportunities for funding applications.
The L&D Coordinator (Grants and Funding) will help to ensure all Learning and Development activities are organised, administered, and coordinated to run efficiently and smoothly.
As a L&D Coordinator you will be to help deliver and support the Learning and Development and Talent initiatives across Colas, this will help to ensure a culture of continuous development and growth for our employees, to meet Colas Ltd current and future talent needs. Some key duties you will be required to do on a day to basis will include:
The ideal candidate will have CIPD L&D level 3 qualified or willing to obtain this or relevant comparable experience in a similar role within L&D, within Construction would be ideal but we are open to individuals who have a strong L&D / Coordination work background from all industries. Experience with Learning Management Systems is desirable, not essential. Understanding of the CITB Grants Funding would be advantageous.
The L&D Coordinator will have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, you will be able to work on your own initiative and take an inquisitive approach. It is essential that you have excellent attention to detail with a results driven approach to excel in this role. A UK driving licence is desirable for this role as you may be required to travel occasionally.
