Job Description

Health Care Support Worker Position on Muirton Ward

Muirton is an acute mental health admission assessment ward for an elderly patient group with dementia-type illnesses. The ward requires a keen and motivated HCSW to maintain high standards. Applicants should demonstrate awareness and be willing to adapt to the ever-changing needs of the Moray Older Adult Psychiatry service.

Previous experience working in acute admission or with the elderly is advantageous but not mandatory. Good communication skills and the ability to work flexibly and harmoniously within a multidisciplinary team are essential.

Support and encouragement will be provided to meet mandatory and other essential training requirements.

This is a rotational post working a flexible 12-hour shift system to ensure continuity and meet service needs.

Posts close at midnight on the specified date unless stated otherwise. Early closure may occur due to application volume.

The position is a full-time permanent contract, offering 37 hours per week.
