Kurdish Sorani Telephone Interpreter / Freelance / Work from Home

Are you a UK-based interpreter, fluent in Sorani and English? Looking to work from home? This freelance role involves working with a leading language agency to provide interpretation services across various industries, including the NHS and the Public Sector.

The Role

• Providing interpretation to clients with limited English proficiency
• Responding to requests and interpreting real-time conversations via phone using a dedicated app
• Translating between English and Sorani in real-time over the phone
• Delivering accurate interpretation with excellent customer service

Ideal Candidate

• Living and eligible to work in the UK on a self-employed basis
• Fluent in Kurdish Sorani and English
• Understanding of cultural nuances of both languages
• Experience in translation or interpretation
• Community Interpreting Level 3 certificate or higher (desirable, not essential)
• Willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
