We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our team in Cardiff, located inside John Lewis.

As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for achieving retail sales targets, developing a team of motivated Travel Experts, and expanding the store’s customer base (full job specification available upon request).

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience managing a retail travel store with profit and staff responsibilities
• Proven track record of delivering sales results and excellent customer service
• Attention to detail in booking checks and holiday pricing
• Strong communication skills, proactive, confident, and forward-thinking
• Ability to motivate and lead a team, especially under pressure
• Passion for travel with extensive firsthand destination knowledge
• Experience working with third-party suppliers
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings
• Understanding of sales and commercial aspects of tour operating
• Knowledge of travel reservation systems
• Achievement in meeting sales targets and delivering customer service
• Customer-centric approach and brand representation skills
• Adaptability, resourcefulness, and a positive attitude
