Un client recherche un spécialiste Kubernetes pour un projet urgent de transformation de données. Le candidat retenu est responsable de la définition et de la migration des suites d'applications vers une infrastructure Kubernetes. Ce rôle, basé en grande partie en remote avec quelques jours sur site à Sheffield, nécessite des compétences avérées en Terraform, Ansible et des systèmes Linux.

Qualifications

• Experience in Kubernetes and large-scale data transformation.
• Strong background in container management and observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with migration of applications to a Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Define application suites for the data transformation program.

Location: Remote - 2 days per month in Sheffield

Job Type: Contract (Inside IR35) - 9 months initially with likely extensions

About the Role:

We are seeking a Kubernetes Specialist / SME to join our client's team.

This role involves assisting with a large data transformation program. The successful candidate will define and migrate application suites to a Kubernetes infrastructure environment.

Requirements:

• Experience with Spark
• S3 Engine knowledge
• Terraform
• Ansible
• CI/CD pipelines
• Hadoop
• Linux / RHEL experience, with on-premises background and container management skills
• Experience with Grafana or Elasticsearch for observability
• Desirable: experience with Open Telemetry and/or Argo
