Responsibilities

• The KTP Associate will work at Shore Design in Leith, Edinburgh, and visit the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow to deliver industry-academia collaboration.
• You will contribute to embedding design-for-sustainability capabilities and develop case studies across medical and pharmaceutical devices.
• You will participate in a structured personal and professional development programme with formal KTP training.

Job description

Salary Range: £28,000-38,000 per annum
FTE: 37.5 hours/week
Contract Type: Fixed Term (36 months)

This Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) is a strategic collaboration between Shore Design Consultancy Limited (https://shore-group.com/about/ ), an award-winning medical device design consultancy based in Edinburgh, and the University of Strathclyde.

The project will embed advanced design-for-sustainability capability within Shore Design, enabling the development of a portfolio of sustainable medical and pharmaceutical device case studies and strengthening the company’s long‑term innovation and commercial offering.
