Responsibilities

• Provide tailored English and Maths intervention sessions for Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Create individualised learning plans to support the academic progress of SEN students
• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' understanding and attainment in English and Maths
• Regularly assess students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with other educators and professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development

Minimum Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience working with SEN students in an educational setting
• Demonstrated expertise in teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching English and Maths to SEN students

Additional Qualifications

• Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of SEN students
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Training in specific intervention programmes for English and Maths

Working Conditions

• Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
• Work in a school or learners home environment with SEN students
• Potential for remote teaching depending on circumstances
