Role: KS3 SEN Nurture Teacher

Location: Slough

Salary: £150 £270 per day

Start Date: September 2025

Support and Empower as a KS3 SEN Nurture Teacher Slough

GSL Education is currently seeking a number of compassionate and dedicated KS3 SEN Nurture Teachers to join one of our specialist partner schools in Slough. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to positively impact the lives of young learners with additional needs in a nurturing classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted lessons tailored to meet the needs of KS3 students with SEN, including SEMH and ASD
  • Create a calm, structured, and supportive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with SENCOs, TAs, and external professionals to develop and implement personalised learning plans
  • Support students emotional development alongside academic progress
  • Adapt teaching strategies based on students' individual needs and progress

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching experience in a nurture or SEN setting
  • Strong understanding of social, emotional, and mental health needs in young learners
  • A patient, empathetic, and relationship-driven approach to teaching
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education)
