Castle Hill High School is a special school for students aged 11-18 with significant and complex needs. We currently have 340 students on roll. Our recent Ofsted inspection rated the school as Outstanding. We are committed to providing an inclusive education that prepares students for the world of work and helps them develop positive attitudes, values, and respect for others.
All students have Education, Health and Care Plans, with needs including communication and social interaction difficulties, cognition and learning difficulties, and autistic spectrum disorder.
We are seeking a highly motivated General Subjects Teacher passionate about making a difference and supporting young people with SEND in overcoming learning barriers.
Applications are welcome from primary or secondary trained teachers, experienced in working with pupils with SEND, or ECTs. The role is suitable for teachers working below age-related expectations.
