Have you taught pupils with Social, Emotional or Mental Health (SEMH) needs before?
Are you adaptable, resilient, patient and able to differentiate your teaching?
* Both Primary & Secondary Teachers with SEMH experience invited to apply as pupils are working at low levels.
* Direct to permanent or temporary-to-permanent.
Immediate Start, full time, Monday to Friday.
Easily accessible by car, train and bus.
You will be teaching children aged 7-16 who all have an EHCP for Social, Emotional or Mental Health needs as well as associated obstacles to learning such as Autism, ADHD and SpLD.
Due to the nature of the pupils, they are looking for a teacher who is passionate, energetic, and resilient, while also being able to motivate and engage hard-to-reach young people.
Pupils are at KS3 age although they are working at KS2 level, so you will be required to teach across the curriculum and differentiate for the individual needs, levels, and behaviors of each pupil.
This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your teaching career, add further skills and experience to your repertoire, and make a real difference to vulnerable children who need our support the most!
