Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistant to support KS3 and KS4 students in Wakefield. The role offers day-to-day or long-term placements with an immediate start, assisting with classroom learning and targeted 1:1 support for students with SEND.

You will work closely with teaching staff to maintain an inclusive learning environment, adapting activities as needed and contributing to interventions.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students across KS3 and KS4 in a UK secondary school.
• Proven ability to deliver 1:1 support for students with SEND.
• Knowledge of adapting activities to diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication with teachers and staff.
• Patient, caring and adaptable approach to student development.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom learning across KS3/KS4.
