Job summary

The Education Specialists are recruiting a Secondary Science Teacher for a well regarded Liverpool school, rated Good by Ofsted. The role is full-time and long-term, teaching KS3 and KS4 in a supportive environment.

You will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classes in line with school policies, and provide feedback on pupil progress. QTS is required, with commitment to safeguarding and ongoing professional development through CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4.
• Ability to deliver lessons across a range of subjects.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
• Enhanced DBS on update service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.
• Adapt teaching to suit different classroom environments.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
