Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed professional to join us as a KS3-KS4 Maths Teacher.

The Successful Candidate Will

  1. Plan teaching to achieve progression in pupils’ learning.
  2. Help to engage students with both reading and writing.
  3. Provide clear structures for lessons maintaining pace, motivation and challenge.
  4. Establish and maintain a safe environment and purposeful working atmosphere which supports learning and in which pupils feel secure and confident.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have

  1. A committed and passionate view of students with SEND.
  2. At least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision.
  3. QTS/QTLS is advantageous.

Snow Hill School is a small specialist provision which provides education for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs who require a smaller, more specialised intervention than can be provided in a mainstream school.
